NuPhy has always been committed to the design of minimalist professional office keyboards. Although our wireless connection performance has reached 1000Hz, which is enough to meet the latency requirements of the vast majority of games. However, when the Wooting 60 HE and its revolutionary Rapid Trigger feature were introduced, we were inspired the keyboard tech was undergoing a new revolution. This sparked our enthusiasm to apply magnetic axis technology to our existing products, and we launched four magnetic axis keyboards in 2024, the Field75HE, Air60/75 HE and Halo65 HE.

Along the way, we implemented a number of innovations: the world's first physical configuration switch, the Thunderbolt, on the Field75 HE, which allows users to easily switch between three configurations; In cooperation with Gadalon， Air60 HE，the world's first low profile magnetic switch，was released. To our surprise, it was much more popular by the market than we expected, which further strengthened our confidence to explore the gaming keyboard space.

We started thinking about creating a new sub-brand for gaming keyboards that would better serve the needs of gamers - and that's where the NuPhy X came in. X stands for Xperimental Projects, Xtreme Performance and also stands for Xtrodinary Design. This also means that we will start a new journey. We will design a new design language and symbol for NuPhy X's products, while incorporating the community culture of custom keyboards, especially in the context of the increasing popularity of 3D printing technology, to provide users with more personalized customization possibilities.
